![]() This April celebrates the 5 th Parklife Festival in Jozi and anyone who has attended the previous festivals knows that Parklife has rooted itself as one of Joburg’s top events with its relaxed and fun-loving atmosphere. The Food Village will exceed its great reputation for bringing guests innovative, delicious offerings across a range of culinary styles from some of the most exciting foodies in the country. Parklife will once again host artists from a variety of genres across three different stages, including the Electronic Music Stage, and as important as the music is so is the food. The line-up will also include three international acts: Jasmine Thompson (from the UK) who’s dominating radio with the single ‘Fast Car’ and also well-known for featuring on the Robin Schulz hit ‘Sun Goes Down’ and ‘Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better)’ with Felix Jaehn Deep House DJ FlicFlac (from Germany) and singer/songwriter James Hersey(from Austria). Local acts confirmed are Jeremy Loops, GoodLuck, Desmond & The Tutus, Al Bairre, Majozi, Monark, Mi Casa, Just Jinjer, Josh Wantie, Tresor, Kyle Deutsch & Shekhinah, Austin Cassim, Mac G (947), Pop Art Live, Vin Deysel (947) and Kyle Watson. This year’s festival will celebrate great local artists as the focus will be on our incredible South African talent. Johannesburg’s favourite festival will be taking place at Marks Park on Saturday the 16 th of April. 947 and Breakout are excited to announce the date for the 5 th annual Parklife Festival.
